II Cor 4:8-10 Carry death to reveal life
We carry the death of Christ in our heart and in our life so that we can reveal the life, the freedom, the hope, the peace, the comfort, the live that is in Christ.
Death is a requirement for life. You cannot be born again unless you die first. It's just no good asking God to give you a new birth if you refuse to die to your sin, your lust, your darkness, your selfishness, your pride...
Remember as you cannot be filled with almost eating, you cannot be born again by almost dying! As you cannot call just looking at or playing with your food eating, you cannot call just contemplating God, faith, at least not the kind of faith that saves!
