II Cor 4:17-18 Fixing our eyes on eternity
As Christians we know that this world is temporary and that we need to fix our sight on eternity but since we physically live in this world this doesn't happen automatically. As we are constantly directed by our navigation system, we need to constantly be connected to God in our reading of the scripture, our prayer, our service, and in our desires.
Let us not become worldly Christians who needs both God and the world to be happy. Let us not become foolish Christians who looks for their heaven in the flames of hell.
