The shepherds (after hearing the angels message) were not content to stay in their fields and celebrate the glorious
Message, they went to spend time with the One the message was about.
They were not content to keep the message to themselves they wanted to tell others.
LORD stir in me a discontent this Christmas... That I might not be merely content to celebrate Your coming but will want to spend time with you...that I won't get so caught up in the trappings of Christmas ( like Martha) that I neglect to spend time sitting at Your feet and
Iistening to Your heart ( like Mary)'may I not be content to keep the message to myself but be willing to share it with others.
