And all the single guys say: “Easy for you to say, married man!” I would say in reply to that: “True.”

But I wanted to share some hope for all of you out there looking for that special someone. I took a look at the Hebrew word for “finds” in Proverbs 18:22. Check it out…

The word is MATSA, which can mean:

To find. To reach. Or to meet accidentally.

To meet accidentally? Does this mean that God has been trying to give you the same advice that thousands have given in the past? The advice goes something like this: “Stop looking for her… and you will find her.” And there is some truth to that. Part of finding that wife or husband is an attitude of contentment, and the meeting of them “accidentally.”

But then again, does anything really happen on accident when it comes to God?
