His Wisdom: MyDoubt. Overcome By Faith

Lord, you said in your Word that if we ask we shall receive according to your Will and Your Word will NOT return Void. Your Will is found in your Word. Your Word is the Wisdom that I am seeking. Our steps are to be ordered in your Word.

If we desire guidance and Wisdom on any matter we must seek the Source, which is your Word and you will give us the answers that we need. However, where there is a promise, there is always a command or a qualification. The qualification in James 1:5-6, is that if we ask for your wisdom we must not doubt You. We must not doubt the answer or call to action that we receive once we come to your throne seeking wisdom.

I think that's a lot of time why we (I) fail to see ALL the wondrous works in my life. I ask, but do not receive because I ask amiss. I do not follow through on the part that says dont doubt. Don't waver. The end result is lack of peace and even self- doubt because I become like a person who is tossed back and forth on a stormy sea, when all I have to do is accept your wisdom and not doubt whatever answer you give . For your word says that every good and perfect thing comes from God.

Lord as we enter the Christmas season and the New Year help me to trust you more and not rely on my own mind and own understanding that is sometimes controlled by the flesh; which is self-doubt, double mindedness and unstable-ness. Instead let it be controlled by the wisdom of your Word that overcomes all doubt.
