It says that the one that conquers (endures faithfully for Jesus) will receive three things from Jesus.

Hidden manna.

White stone.

And a new name written on the stone.

Why would God give us a new name when we get to heaven? What is wrong with our current names? Maybe he is trying to tell us that he knows us apart from everyone else. So much that he has a specific name that is unique only to us.

This is how much God loves us. This is the kind of love and attention that was proven when Jesus went to the cross for every single one of our names.

We have a considerate Savior.
