Saved, Sinner, savior- This Is Moses

What God Has For You is For You. God knows the plans He has for you from birth. Even when it seems like its all over and we've disobeyed, fallen from glory, sinned, and feel like we are not who God wants us to be, WE are still His.

He still has that special plan for our lives and He will make the darkness light, make the crooked straight and set us on the right path in order to fulfill His Word: in order to fulfill the assignment He has. It's not about us, but about the fulfillment of God's plan through us.

Moses's assignment began at birth. He was SAVED. He was spared from Pharaoh's command to kill all Hebrew babes. That was God at work. Moses was raised with the finest life, he knew the ends and out of the kingdom that He would one day over take. That was God at work. He placed Moses in that particular place to get ready for his later assignment.

As Moses became older, Something rose up in him. His Hebrew blood caused him to react to the wrongful treatment of His people. That was God at work. He no longer could sit back and watch his people suffer. He no longer could obey a false King Pharaoh. His assignment was coming and he didn't even know it.

Now I've always heard the story told as if Moses was just a wild angry man that murdered somebody. But in truth, he murdered in a rash response to the injustice and harsh treatment to his brethren. Although it was still murder and still wrong, it was done more out of compassion than brutality. Even in his state of murder, God was still in the plan because this lead to Moses forsaking his former life, being taken in by strangers whom he also helped by the way.

We all know the rest of the story. But God saved Moses, he took a murderous sinner, and gave him one of the greatest assignments in biblical history.

Brothers and Sisters, the same God of Moses is the same God of today. He can take those of us with not so great resumes , those who have gone astray, and use us for great and mighty works for His glory.

The assignment was written long ago. Will we be bold enough to still answer the call?
