I love Peter's last line here. The people are looking at them amazed, in awe of them - not God, and Peter almost seems to laugh. That they are thinking it's some sort of religious fever or piety that has created a "power" in them.
It was all God - and today it is still all God. But aren't we quick to to stand in awe of people whom Gods power has worked through as if through some special set of practices they've got the inside track on this whole God thing?!
