Humility
Moses was not a picture of humility for the first 40 years of his life. He was raised in privilege in Pharoah's household and spoiled. After running for his life he spent 40 years in the desert. From living in a palace to living in a tent and from having servants to shepherding sheep the desert transformed Moses' character. He could have been bitter but he chose humility.
Living in the desert (metaphorically) isn't fun. From a place of leadership to a place of anonymity is a difficult transition. It's so easy to be bitter and place blame but the wise choice is to be humble. The challenge is to be patient and let God heal and prepare you for His next assignment by humbly serving those around you.
