Wisdom Not Heard, Help Ignored!

This is an amazing passage that every believer should read and understand. As a pastor, I see people every day and throughout the week that feel that their prayers are never answered, whether they are struggling or things are going good. This passage is an answer to every believer as to why their prayers aren't answered.

Starting with verse 22, How long will believers continue to walk through life and and only get into the Word on Sunday or maybe a day a week? This passage is telling us that God's wisdom is shouting to us as believers to come and listen to it.

Verse 24-25: Doesn't this sound like many believers? We say we love Jesus and His Word, but how much time do we really spend with Him. Seeking His wisdom from his Word.

(Note:) It is not about being legalistic here....reading your Bible and praying everyday doesn't get you any closer to God than someone who reads it all day everyday. IT IS A HEART ISSUE! Read, pray and go for Him not because you have to but because you want to and then reap then benefits of your relationship with Him.

Verse 26-23: When we don't listen to God....He doesn't listen to us. He hears us, but will not answer....He answers us when we give Him glory and turn to Him with a right heart and right motive. Not just to get a quick God fix and then we are on our way.

God's wisdom sustains us...our wisdom betrays us!
