To know God (not just to know of Him), but to have a personal relationship with Him based on an intimate knowledge, is eternal life!! John 17:3
Personal relationship with our Father is what we were created for. He purchased us with the blood of His precious Son! He was in Jesus reconciling the world back to Him!
Those who live by the Spirit will find peace and joy! Those who live by the flesh will not.
Think about this: Do you know God or do you just know about God? There's a humongous difference! We all know about the President of the United States, but few have a personal relationship with him.
Jesus said in John 5 "You search the Scriptures thinking that in them you'll find Me. But they testify of Me and here I am!!"
Read the scriptures for the purpose of finding your identity and what our Father says about you: why you were created; why Jesus came; what His will is for you until He returns for His bride; and what your future is!
