Jesus - Eternal, Righteous King
Jesus is the eternal king. His reign will never end.
Every earthly kingdom will end. We live in a world of shifting power, of authority that moves from one group of people to another. But Jesus is the king of those kings and presidents and rulers and czars. He rules over them, and he rules over the transfer of power between them.
But not only is Jesus greater than all other kings, his reign is by nature different than all other kings. He reigns by righteousness. His kingship is perfect. He always does what is good, in fact what is best, for his kingdom.
