The PERSON who should be baptized.

They must first become a DISCIPLE. -Matt. 28:19 ...A FOLLOWER and LEARNER about Jesus or one who has faith in Him ...Baptism will be the result of a person falling in LOVE with Jesus

They must be willing to DIE to sin ...Acts 2:38 requires repentance which is separation from or DEATH to sin ...Repentance is the desire to STOP what's wrong and to START what's right. -Titus 2:11-12 ... Baptism PICTURES a death, burial and resurrection. -Col. 2:12-13 ... This is why BABIES are not candidates for baptism.
