Leviticus 18

1 And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God.3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes.4 Mine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God.5 Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah.

6 None of you shall approach to any that are near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am Jehovah.7 The nakedness of thy father, even the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or the daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.10 The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.11 The nakedness of thy father’s wife’s daughter, begotten of thy father, she is thy sister, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.12 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s sister: she is thy father’s near kinswoman.13 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother’s sister: for she is thy mother’s near kinswoman.14 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy father’s brother, thou shalt not approach to his wife: she is thine aunt.15 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy daughter-in-law: she is thy son’s wife; thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.16 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy brother’s wife: it is thy brother’s nakedness.17 Thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter; thou shalt not take her son’s daughter, or her daughter’s daughter, to uncover her nakedness; they are near kinswomen: it is wickedness.18 And thou shalt not take a wife to her sister, to be a rival to her, to uncover her nakedness, besides the other in her life-time.

19 And thou shalt not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is impure by her uncleanness.20 And thou shalt not lie carnally with thy neighbor’s wife, to defile thyself with her.21 And thou shalt not give any of thy seed to make them pass through the fire to Molech; neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I am Jehovah.22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.23 And thou shalt not lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith; neither shall any woman stand before a beast, to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you;25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants.26 Ye therefore shall keep my statutes and mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you;27 (for all these abominations have the men of the land done, that were before you, and the land is defiled);28 that the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you.29 For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people.30 Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.

레위기 18

불법적인 성관계를 금함

1 여호와께서 모세를 통하여 이스라엘 백성에게 말씀하셨다. “나는 여

2 호와 너희 하나님이다.

3 너희는 오랫동안 살았던 이집트 땅의 풍습을 좇지 말고 내가 너희를 인도할 가나안 땅의 풍습도 좇지 말아라.

4 너희는 내 법에 순종하고 내가 명령한 것을 그대로 준수하라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이다.

5 그러므로 너희는 나의 법과 규정을 지켜야 한다. 사람이 이것을 행하면 살 것이다. 나는 여호와이다.

6 “너희는 가까운 친척과 성관계를 하지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.

7 너희 자녀들은 부모에게 절대로 부끄러운 짓을 해서는 안 된다.

8 또 너희는 아버지의 첩에게 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라.

9 너희는 친자매이든 의붓자매이든, 그들이 너희와 한집에서 태어났든지 다른 곳에서 태어났든지 일체 그들과 성관계를 해서는 안 된다.

10 너희는 친손녀나 외손녀를 욕보이지 말아라. 그들은 가까운 친척이다.

11 너희는 의붓누이와 성관계를 하지 말아라. 그녀도 역시 너희 자매이다.

12 너희는 너희 고모에게 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라. 그녀는 너희 아버지와 가까운 친척이다.

13 너희는 너희 이모에게 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라. 그녀는 너희 어머니와 가까운 친척이다.

14 너희는 너희 아버지 형제의 아내를 가까이하여 부끄러운 짓을 하지 말아라. 그들은 너희 백모와 숙모이다.

15 너희는 너희 며느리를 욕보이지 말아라. 그녀는 너희 아들의 아내이다.

16 너희는 너희 형제의 아내와 성관계를 하지 말아라. 그들은 너희 형수와 제수이다.

17 너희는 너희가 성관계를 가진 여인의 딸이나 손녀를 욕보이지 말아라. 그들은 피를 함께 나눈 자들이므로 이런 짓은 악한 행위이다.

18 너희는 아내가 살아 있는 동안 그녀의 자매를 또 다른 아내로 맞아 그들이 서로 시기하는 일이 없도록 하라.

19 “너희는 월경중에 있는 부정한 여자와 성관계를 하지 말아라.

20 또 너희는 남의 아내와 간통하여 너희 자신을 더럽히지 말아라.

21 “너희는 너희 자녀를 이방 신 몰렉에게 주어 불로 태우는 제물이 되게 함으로써 너희 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 하지 말아라. 나는 여호와이다.

22 너희는 절대로 동성 연애를 해서는 안 된다. 이것은 추잡한 짓이다.

23 남자이든 여자이든 누구든지 짐승과 음란한 짓을 하여 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 이것은 무서운 죄이다.

24 “너희는 이런 추잡한 일로 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 내가 너희 앞에서 쫓아낼 이방 민족들이 이런 죄로 더럽혀졌고

25 그들의 온 땅도 더럽혀졌으므로 내가 그 땅에 사는 사람들을 벌하여 그 곳에서 쫓아낼 것이다.

26-27 그들은 이런 악한 짓을 하여 그 땅을 더럽혔으나 너희만은 그렇게 해서는 안 된다. 너희는 이스라엘 사람이건 너희 가운데 사는 외국인이건 모두 나 여호와의 법과 규정을 따르고 지켜야 한다.

28 너희가 만일 그 땅을 더럽히면 내가 쫓아낼 민족과 마찬가지로 너희도 그 땅에서 쫓아내겠다.

29 누구든지 이런 악한 일을 하나라도 범하는 자는 내 백성 가운데서 제거될 것이다.

30 그러므로 너희는 내 명령에 순종해야 하며 이런 악습을 따라서는 안 된다. 너희는 앞으로 들어가 살 그 땅의 백성들이 행하는 악한 풍습을 좇아 너희 자신을 더럽히지 말아라. 나는 너희 하나님 여호와이다.”
