Luke 17

1 And he said unto his disciples, It is impossible but that occasions of stumbling should come; but woe unto him, through whom they come!2 It were well for him if a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were thrown into the sea, rather than that he should cause one of these little ones to stumble.3 Take heed to yourselves: if thy brother sin, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.4 And if he sin against thee seven times in the day, and seven times turn again to thee, saying, I repent; thou shalt forgive him.5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou rooted up, and be thou planted in the sea; and it would obey you.7 But who is there of you, having a servant plowing or keeping sheep, that will say unto him, when he is come in from the field, Come straightway and sit down to meat;8 and will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?9 Doth he thank the servant because he did the things that were commanded?10 Even so ye also, when ye shall have done all the things that are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants; we have done that which it was our duty to do.11 And it came to pass, as they were on their way to Jerusalem, that he was passing along the borders of Samaria and Galilee.12 And as he entered into a certain village, there met him ten men that were lepers, who stood afar off:13 and they lifted up their voices, saying, Jesus, Master, have mercy on us.14 And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go and show yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, as they went, they were cleansed.15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, with a loud voice glorifying God;16 and he fell upon his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.17 And Jesus answering said, Were not the ten cleansed? but where are the nine?18 Were there none found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger?19 And he said unto him, Arise, and go thy way: thy faith hath made thee whole.20 And being asked by the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God cometh, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:21 neither shall they say, Lo, here! or, There! for lo, the kingdom of God is within you.22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.23 And they shall say to you, Lo, there! Lo, here! go not away, nor follow after them:24 for as the lightning, when it lighteneth out of the one part under the heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall the Son of man be in his day.25 But first must he suffer many things and be rejected of this generation.26 And as it came to pass in the days of Noah, even so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.27 They ate, they drank, they married, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.28 Likewise even as it came to pass in the days of Lot; they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;29 but in the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all:30 after the same manner shall it be in the day that the Son of man is revealed.31 In that day, he that shall be on the housetop, and his goods in the house, let him not go down to take them away: and let him that is in the field likewise not return back.32 Remember Lot’s wife.33 Whosoever shall seek to gain his life shall lose it: but whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.34 I say unto you, In that night there shall be two men on one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.35 There shall be two women grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.36 There shall be two men in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.37 And they answering say unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Where the body is, thither will the eagles also be gathered together.

누가복음 17

1 예수님이 제자들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “1세상에는 죄 짓게 하는 일 이 언제나 있기 마련이지만 죄 짓게 하는 그 사람에게는 불행이 닥칠 것이다.

2 이런 어린 아이 하나라도 죄 짓게 하면 2차라리 목에 큰 맷돌짝을 달고 깊은 바다에 빠져 죽는 것이 더 낫다.

3 너희는 스스로 조심하라. 네 형제가 죄를 짓거든 꾸짖고 회개하거든 용서해 주어라.

4 그가 하루 일곱 번이나 네게 죄를 짓고 그때마다 와서 잘못했다고 빌면 용서해 주어라.”

믿음과 감사

5 사도들이 “주님, 우리에게 더 큰 믿음을 갖게 해 주십시오” 하자

6 주님께서 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “너희에게 겨자씨 한 알 만한 믿음이라도 있으면 이 뽕나무더러 ‘뿌리째 뽑혀 바다에 심겨져라’ 해도 그대로 될 것이다.

7 너희 중 어떤 사람에게 밭갈이나 양치는 일을 맡은 종이 있다고 하자. 그가 밭에서 돌아오면 ‘어서 이리 와서 앉아 먹어라’ 할 주인이 있겠느냐?

8 오히려 그에게 ‘너는 내 저녁부터 준비하고 내가 먹고 마시는 동안 시중들다가 내 식사가 끝난 다음에 네가 먹고 마셔라’ 하지 않겠느냐?

9 시키는 대로 했다고 해서 주인이 그 종에게 고맙다고 하겠느냐?

10 이와 같이 너희도 명령받은 것을 다 수행하고 나서 ‘우리는 아무 쓸모없는 종입니다. 그저 해야 할 일을 했을 뿐입니다’ 하고 말하라.”

11 예수님이 예루살렘으로 가시는 길에 사마리아와 갈릴리 사이로 지나가시게 되었다.

12 예수님이 어떤 마을에 들어가시자 문둥병자 열 사람이 예수님을 만나 멀리 서서 큰 소리로

13 “예수 선생님, 우리를 불쌍히 여겨 주십시오” 하고 외쳤다.

14 예수님은 그들을 보시고 “제사장들에게 가서 너희 몸을 보여라” 하고 말씀하셨다. 그들은 가는 도중에 몸이 깨끗하게 되었다.

15 그들 중 하나가 자기 병이 나은 것을 보고 큰 소리로 하나님을 찬양하며 돌아와

16 예수님의 발 앞에 엎드려 감사를 드렸는데 그는 사마리아 사람이었다.

17 이때 예수님은 “열 사람이 다 깨끗하게 되지 않았느냐? 그런데 아홉은 어디 있느냐?

18 이 이방인 외에는 하나님을 찬양하러 돌아온 사람이 없단 말이냐?” 하시고

19 그에게 “일어나 가거라. 네 믿음이 너를 낫게 하였다” 하고 말씀하셨다.

준비하고 기다려라

20 하나님의 나라가 언제 오겠느냐는 바리새파 사람들의 질문을 받고 예수님은 이렇게 대답하셨다. “하나님의 나라는 볼 수 있게 오는 것이 아니며

21 또 ‘여기 있다’, ‘저기 있다’ 하고 말할 수도 없다. 왜냐하면 하나님의 나라는 너희 3안에 있기 때문이다.”

22 그러고서 예수님은 제자들에게 말씀하셨다. “너희가 4단 하루만이라도 나와 함께 있고 싶어도 그렇게 못할 때가 올 것이다.

23 또 사람들이 너희에게 5그리스도가 ‘여기 있다’, ‘저기 있다’ 하여도 너희는 그들을 따라 나서거나 쫓아다니지 말아라.

24 마치 번개가 하늘 이편에서 번쩍하여 저편까지 비치듯이 6내가 오는 날도 그와 같을 것이다.

25 그러나 나는 먼저 많은 고난을 당하고 이 세대 사람들에게 버림을 받아야 한다.

26 내가 올 때에는 세상이 노아의 시대와 같을 것이다.

27 사람들은 노아가 배에 들어가는 날까지 먹고 마시고 장가가고 시집가다가 홍수가 나자 모두 멸망하고 말았다.

28 또 내가 올 때에는 롯의 시대와도 같을 것이다. 사람들이 먹고 마시고 사고 팔며 파종하고 집을 지었지만

29 롯이 소돔에서 나가던 바로 그 날에 하늘에서 불과 유황이 비 오듯이 쏟아져 모두 멸망하고 말았다.

30 내가 나타나는 날에도 그럴 것이다.

31 그 날에는 지붕 위에 있는 사람이 집 안에 물건이 있다고 해서 그것을 가지러 내려가지 말고 들에 있는 사람도 집으로 돌아가지 말아라.

32 롯의 아내를 생각해 보아라.

33 누구든지 자기 생명을 지키려고 하는 사람은 잃을 것이며 자기 생명을 7버리는 사람은 보존할 것이다.

34 내가 분명히 말해 둔다. 그 날 밤에 두 사람이 한 침대에 누워 있어도 하나는 데려가고 하나는 버려 둘 것이며

35 두 여자가 함께 맷돌을 갈고 있어도 하나는 데려가고 하나는 버려 둘 것이다.

36 8(두 사람이 밭에 있어도 하나는 데려가고 하나는 버려 둘 것이다.)”

37 그때 제자들이 “주님, 어디서 그런 일이 일어나겠습니까?” 하고 묻자 “시체가 있는 곳에는 독수리가 모여들기 마련이다” 하고 예수님이 대답하셨다.
