Malachi 4

1 For, behold, the day cometh, it burneth as a furnace; and all the proud, and all that work wickedness, shall be stubble; and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith Jehovah of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.2 But unto you that fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings; and ye shall go forth, and gambol as calves of the stall.3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make, saith Jehovah of hosts.4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of Jehovah come.6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers; lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

여호와의 날

1 전능하신 여호와께서 말씀하신다. “보라! 용광로의 불과 같은 심판의 날이 올 것이다. 그 날에는 교만한 자와 악을 행하는 자가 다 지푸라기처럼 타서 없어질 것이며 그들 중에는 하나도 살아 남는자가 없을 것이다.

2 그러나 내 이름을 두려워하는 너희에게는 의의 태양이 떠올라서 치료하는 광선을 발할 것이며 너희는 나가 외양간에서 풀려나온 송아지처럼 뛰어다닐 것이다.

3 내가 이것을 행하는 날에 너희가 악인을 짓밟을 것이며 그들은 너희 발밑에 있는 재와 같을 것이다.

4 “너희는 내가 시내산에서 모든 이스라엘 백성을 위해 내 종 모세에게 준 법과 규정을 기억하라.

5 “보라! 나 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 내가 너희에게 2엘리야와 같은 예언자를 보내겠다.

6 그는 아버지의 마음이 자녀들에게 돌아서게 하고 자녀들의 마음이 아버지에게 돌아서게 할 것이다. 만일 그들이 회개하지 않으면 내가 가서 그들의 땅을 저주로 치겠다.”
