Mark 11

1 And when they draw nigh unto Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth two of his disciples,2 and saith unto them, Go your way into the village that is over against you: and straightway as ye enter into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon no man ever yet sat; loose him, and bring him.3 And if any one say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye, The Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him back hither.4 And they went away, and found a colt tied at the door without in the open street; and they loose him.5 And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?6 And they said unto them even as Jesus had said: and they let them go.7 And they bring the colt unto Jesus, and cast on him their garments; and he sat upon him.8 And many spread their garments upon the way; and others branches, which they had cut from the fields.9 And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:10 Blessed is the kingdom that cometh, the kingdom of our father David: Hosanna in the highest.11 And he entered into Jerusalem, into the temple; and when he had looked round about upon all things, it being now eventide, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.12 And on the morrow, when they were come out from Bethany, he hungered.13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find anything thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for it was not the season of figs.14 And he answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit from thee henceforward for ever. And his disciples heard it.15 And they come to Jerusalem: and he entered into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and them that bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of them that sold the doves;16 and he would not suffer that any man should carry a vessel through the temple.17 And he taught, and said unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations? but ye have made it a den of robbers.18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, for all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.19 And every evening he went forth out of the city.20 And as they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Rabbi, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.23 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou taken up and cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that what he saith cometh to pass; he shall have it.24 Therefore I say unto you, All things whatsoever ye pray and ask for, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.25 And whensoever ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have aught against any one; that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your trespasses.27 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders;28 and they said unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? or who gave thee this authority to do these things?29 And Jesus said unto them, I will ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.30 The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or from men? answer me.31 And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; He will say, Why then did ye not believe him?32 But should we say, From men--they feared the people: for all verily held John to be a prophet.33 And they answered Jesus and say, We know not. And Jesus saith unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

마가복음 11

예루살렘 도착

1 그들이 예루살렘에 가까운 감람산 기슭, 벳바게와 베다니에 이르렀을 때 예수님은 두 제자를 보내며

2 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “너희는 맞은편 마을로 들어가거라. 거기에 가면 아무도 타 본 적이 없는 나귀 새끼 한 마리가 매여 있을 것이다. 그것을 풀어서 끌고 오너라.

3 누가 너희에게 왜 그러느냐고 묻거든 주님이 쓰신다고 하여라. 그러면 곧 보내 줄 것이다.”

4 그래서 그들이 가서 문 밖 길거리에 나귀 새끼가 매여 있는 것을 보고 풀자

5 거기 섰던 사람들이 “무슨 일이오? 왜 나귀를 푸시오?” 하고 물었다.

6 제자들이 예수님께서 일러 주신 대로 대답하자 그들이 허락하였다.

7 제자들은 나귀 새끼를 예수님께 끌고 와서 자기들의 겉옷을 그 위에 걸쳐 두었다. 예수님이 나귀에 올라타시자

8 많은 사람들이 겉옷을 벗어 길에 펴기도 하고 들에서 푸른 나뭇가지를 꺾어다 길에 깔기도 하였다.

9 그리고 예수님을 앞뒤로 에워싸고 가는 군중들은 “1호산나! 주의 이름으로 오시는 분에게 찬양을!

10 앞으로 올 우리 조상 다윗의 나라여, 가장 높은 곳에서 호산나!” 하고 환호성을 올렸다.

11 그 길로 예루살렘에 도착하신 예수님은 성전에 들어가 모든 것을 둘러보시고 이미 날이 저물었으므로 열두 제자와 함께 베다니로 나가셨다.

12 이튿날 그들이 베다니를 떠날 때 예수님은 시장하셨다.

13 약간 떨어진 곳에 마침 잎이 무성한 무화과나무 한 그루가 있는 것을 보시고 예수님은 혹시 열매가 있는지 보려고 가셨으나 아직 무화과 철이 아니어서 잎사귀뿐이었다.

14 그래서 예수님은 그 나무를 향해 “사람이 네게서 다시는 열매를 따먹지 못할 것이다” 하고 말씀하셨다. 그리고 제자들도 예수님이 그렇게 말씀하시는 소리를 들었다.

15 예루살렘에 이르시자 예수님은 성전에 들어가 거기서 매매하는 사람들을 다 쫓아내시고 돈 바꿔 주는 사람들의 상과 비둘기 파는 사람들의 의자를 둘러엎으셨다.

16 그리고 예수님은 아무도 물건을 가지고 성전 안으로 지나다니지 못하게 하시고

17 그들에게 “2‘내 성전은 모든 민족의 기도하는 집이다’라고 성경에 쓰여 있는데 너희는 이 집을 강도의 소굴로 만들었다” 하고 말씀하셨다.

18 대제사장들과 율법학자들은 이 말을 듣고 예수님을 죽일 방법을 의논하였다. 이것은 모든 사람들이 예수님의 가르치심에 놀라므로 그들이 예수님을 두려워했기 때문이었다.

19 날이 저물자 예수님의 일행은 다시 성 밖으로 나갔다.

20 다음날 아침 그들은 길을 가다가 예수님이 저주한 무화과나무가 뿌리째 마른 것을 보았다.

21 이때 베드로가 예수님의 말씀이 생각나서 “선생님, 저것 좀 보십시오. 어제 저주하신 무화과나무가 말라 버렸습니다” 하자

22 예수님이 제자들에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “하나님을 믿어라.

23 내가 분명히 말하지만 누구든지 이 산을 향해 ‘땅에서 들려 바다에 빠져라’ 하며 마음속으로 의심하지 않고 자기가 말하는 것이 반드시 이루어질 것이라고 믿으면 그대로 될 것이다.

24 그러므로 내가 너희에게 말한다. 너희가 기도하고 구하는 것은 무엇이든지 받은 줄로 믿어라. 그러면 그대로 될 것이다.

25 너희가 서서 기도할 때 어떤 사람과 서로 마음 상한 일이 있거든 용서해 주어라. 그러면 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께서도 너희 잘못을 용서해 주실 것이다.

26 3(그러나 너희가 용서해 주지 않으면 하늘에 계신 너희 아버지께서도 너희 잘못을 용서해 주시지 않을 것이다.)”

27 그들은 다시 예루살렘에 들어갔다. 예수님이 성전 뜰을 거니실 때 대제사장들과 율법학자들과 장로들이 와서

28 “당신은 무슨 권한으로 이런 일을 하고 있소? 누가 당신에게 이런 권한을 주었소?” 하고 따져 물었다.

29 그때 예수님이 대답하셨다. “나도 한 가지 묻겠는데 너희가 대답하면 내가 무슨 권한으로 이런 일을 하는지 말하겠다.

30 요한의 4세례가 5하나님에게서 왔느냐, 아니면 사람에게서 왔느냐? 말해 보아라.”

31 그러자 그들은 “만일 하나님에게서 왔다고 하면 ‘왜 그를 믿지 않았느냐?’ 할 것이고

32 그렇다고 사람에게서 왔다고 하자니 모든 사람들이 요한을 예언자로 여기고 있으므로 백성들이 두렵다” 하고 서로 의논하다가

33 “우리는 모르겠소” 하고 대답하였다. 그래서 예수님은 그들에게 “나도 무슨 권한으로 이런 일을 하는지 말하지 않겠다” 하고 말씀하셨다.
