With YouVersion.com, you can select your privacy settings for all content you contribute.

When you select Public, your contribution will be visible to everyone. Anyone can share them, star them, tag them, or link to them outside of YouVersion.com

When you select Private, only you will be able to see that contribution. Private items cannot be shared outside of YouVersion.com.

You can change your privacy settings at anytime.

A tag is a keyword associated with a piece of information like a scripture, image, article, or video. When you tag something in YouVersion, you're allowing others to find relevant content when they search.

For example, you could tag Genesis 1:1 as "creation" and when others search for that, it will show up in their results.

Do you have thoughts you would like to share on a certain verse? Perhaps you have written an essay or article about a passage of Scripture. Simply copy and paste your text and submit your ideas for the world to see.

Have you discovered a hidden treasure on the internet that applies to a certain Scripture? Share a link with your YouVersion community. Just make sure you copy the entire link (http://www.yourlink.com/content.html) before you submit it.

Imagery is wonderful for communicating truth visually. As the old adage says, "A picture's worth a thousand words." You can upload relative original designs, photographs, or any sort of graphic art, as long as you own the right to do so and it is not inappropriate.

Have you found a video or film that directly relates to a verse or passage? You can contribute a video from YouTube, GodTube, Google Videos (change up to fit what you need), or upload your original content here. Please don't use videos when you don't own the rights, or videos with inappropriate content.
