RAIN
I am struggling with this verse; Matthew 5:25. It says God rains on the Just as well as the unjust. So, God is going to bless me regardless of what I I do? He's going to bless me for doing the work of him and the woman that curses out her neighbor?.....This is really hard for me to understand and grasp.
I Know that God is a gracious and loving God. I know that no matter what I do, he will always keep me and make sure that I have everything I need, but how is it that he will give me the same blessings as the woman that doesn't tithe, doesn't love, and doesn't care about anyone but herself.
I fast, I pray, worship, give, encourage and etc..then it came to me....It's not about me, it's about Jesus. It's about the relationship and love that I have for Jesus and my heavenly Father. I don't do the good deeds as a Christian to get blessed , because in all honesty, if God never does anything else for me, he's done enough. I had to stop thinking selfishly and know that the way we act, is a reflection of Jesus and how HE wants us to be. It's nothing to do with our neighbor.
So, if you find yourself questioning why this person got blessed with this and this JUST STOP and know that God, recognizes everything that you do and as Christians this is what is required of us and understand that your blessings are on the way.
