Tell how he freed you ...

I love Psalm 107, especially in the The Message. It's a great framework for telling our story as we're encouraged to do in verse 2 ... "All of you set free by God, tell the world."

Some of us wandered for years in the desert ...
Some of us were locked behind bars ...
Some of us have lived bad lives ...
Some of us set sail for faraway ports ...

What did your desert or your prison cell or your bad life or your faraway ports look like?

What made you call out to God in your desperate condition?

And when you cried out to him, how did God respond?

What wonderful road did he put your feet on?
What was it like to realise the heavy jailhouse doors were shattered, that freedom and light were before you?
Can you remember the healing word that brought you back from the brink?
Can you describe the storm that threatened to engulf you, and the relief of being led back to safe harbor?

Are you thanking God because he's so good, his love never runs out?
What's your story of life with Jesus today?
