Seth - Another Seed Instead of Abel
It is clear that both Abel and Seth were called by God for a specific purpose. What was not accomplished by Abel due to his demise at Cain's hand was now to be carried on and accomplished by Seth. Question? - Why are the names of some of Cain's lineage the same or similar to those of Seth's? Could it be that Seth and his sister (Cain's wife) were still communicating and she gave some of her children the same name as her brother Seth and Seth did the same and like wise chose for his?
