Philippians 3

The message for this week is the Power of God!

Paul write this letter to the Philippians to build them up, their courage and strength to build a church.

We must watch out for others...they are all bark and no bite. The old laws are torn up.

We have a way if saying "it's Gods will." this is a sloppy excuse for saying we didn't get what we wanted. We have to glorify the Lord in everything!

Verse 3 says Real believers get to work! We can't do this by ourselves, but through the glory of God.

Verse 5 is about his pedigree as a child of Israel. He goes on to say that everything he once thought was important he has thrown to the way side to embrace and glorify the Lord.

We can't get anything by listening to rules...it has to come from our belief, our faith, and our desperation for Christ.

I want to know Christ and experience the mighty power that raised him from the dead. I want to suffer with him, sharing in his death, (verse 10)
