A lot going on in this passage with God telling of the coming destruction that would eventually take place to accomplish His purposes

How can I apply this to my life?
I find these passages really hard to get my mind around and I am just remembering that God is infinitely beyond my comprehension and this is just scratching the surface to the mind of God. I'm so thankful for His grace and love for me when I read passages like this...to know that I'm not going to be judged with the fierceness of God's anger. Christ has already taken that punishment for me.
