Christ Communicating With Moses & Elijah
Jesus came as a human being. Yes, He was divine & human but on earth He functioned in His humanity not His divinity. Authority was given by God to human beings on earth, therefore in order for Jesus to be "legal" on earth He had to be human an operate in that humanity.
What are the implications of this conversation with Moses & Elijah then? This is not a question to entertain the validity of a seance since that is clearly in violation of scripture.
Jesus had this conversation as a human being. I just don't know what the implications are. The thought of talking to the dead is honestly quite spooky to me and I have no desire to do such a thing. I do think mankind has never experienced, because of the fall, what he is fully capable of, in a truly Godly manner.
Just something yet to ponder!
