Know Who You're Dealing With!
If for some reason the circumstances you face in your life right now seem greater than the greatest mountain, or tougher than the toughest situation, here's a friendly reminder that those ideas are all in your mind, and they're not true!
It's as if God stopped an entire chapter to make a PSA announcement...
"HEY! JUST IN CASE YOU FORGOT...I'M GOD! CREATOR OF THE UNIVERSE! I PARTED THE SEAS! SPOKE DARKNESS INTO LIGHT! I'VE MADE TIME STAND STILL! I MADE ANIMALS TALK! I SPOKE TO A TREE AND IT DIED INSTANTLY! I BREATHED LIFE INTO SOME DUST AND BAM....HERE YOU ARE!"
He says all of that to say this...as His child, know who you're dealing with!! You have HIM to back you up and carry you through every situation so there's no need to get discouraged. Sometimes when we're facing seemingly insurmountable circumstances, we can suffer temporary memory loss in regards to who we are and WHOSE we are. Thank God for his reminders all throughout his word that help us to snap back into our right minds and remember who we're dealing with!
