Living up to what we have already attained. By God's grace I have attained eternal life through faith in Christ and Christ alone. An eternity of glorifying God begins at salvation. This life is an "on ramp" to heaven.
Each day my awareness and yieldedness to God should be growing. This can happen through meditating in His Word, as a branch abides in the vine, displaying life and fruit. This can happen through an attitude of gratitude, giving thanks in all things knowing He does all things well.
So, Jim, don't wait for Heaven to live heavenward in Christ Jesus.
