Lukewarm Christianity

Jesus came here not only to proclaim the kingdom of God and glorify the Father, He came to separate the wheat from the chaff. God was looking at the hearts of the people and not how religious they were. They could not earn His love and salvation. The Pharisees and Sadducees were chastised for exactly that. They would do things to earn respect of the people and each other. Their heart was far away from God.

Our fruit is love. We serve and love others because He loved us first. Love is action not just words...we have to actually do something. We need to examine ourselves if we are not bearing much fruit and exuberantly loving Jesus. If we are not being persecuted for our faith, then we also need to check ourselves. Our light should not be hidden. Jesus warns that if we are lukewarm, we will be vomited out of His mouth.

We are called to be world changers not pew warmers.
