So often, not only in Christian Relationships, in our Relationships with Friends, we have a Tendency to Believe that somehow "Friend" means EVERY Product or Service betwixt us should be FREE! Nah. We should want to Support our Friends & Pay them all the more when it comes to these things. Abraham NEVER assumed that Ephron would just Give him the Land. He inquired how much the Land would Cost & whether he could have it at all!? Ephron even said, "400 Shekels of Silver, what is that betwixt me & thee?" But Abe knew the Value of Payment. Now Pay isn't always Monetary, I get it, but you should always be Happy to Pay your Friends for their Product or Service. After all...you would want the same...Right? You my boy Abraham...BUT THAT'LL BE 400 SHEKELS! LoL
