This is why many pastors are blessed and why many others aren't.

3 Ingredients: pure heart, well-spoken, and friendship.

Most pastors are well spoken, but not all are pure of heart. Sadly, many many many pastors are isolated and lonely.

The third ingredient in this verse, friendship, makes the difference. Close friendship with God (and His people) keep a pastor's heart pure! God's Word, His Spirit and His people keep us accountable and foster heart-purity.

Spiritual isolation will destroy pastors...it is unavoidable.
