i love joshua's response here to the Israelites' complaint. they looked at the obstacles and the opposition and said it was too great. joshua basically repeats his previous challenge to them...to push through the opposition, clear the land, and claim it as their own. and even though they're strong, they'll find victory b/c God will fight for them.

sometimes as Christians we need to just toughen up, forget about the odds, and trust the one more powerful than anything.
