Faith Influencers
Who influences your faith? People can be divided into two major groups: those who are FOR you and those who are AGAINST you. Sadly, the second group wants to have the most influence over you. Here is how.
They are watching you closely. They are like spies watching your every move, your words and your actions.
Like Jesus' enemies, they are waiting to catch you doing something wrong. Once you dare do something they don't agree with, they will pounce on you with criticism.
Then, they will finally make their move. They will gossip about you and spread rumors. They will hand you over to the 'Roman governor' and accuse you.
Look, Jesus had his enemies and so will you. See, not everybody is going to like you. Not everybody will support you. Yes, even people in church will be indifferent about you. Sad but true. So, here is what you do, like Jesus, just be yourself. Be kind, be respectful, be the type of person you need to be for God. Remember, your goal is NOT to change people, your goal is to be faithful to God and complete his work in you. The one you are trying to please is God with the way you live. Allow Him influence who you are and how you feel about yourself. Start today.
