Not everyone repaired the same size section of wall. Not even close! Different sections ranged in size from as small as right in front of one's house up to 1000 cubits. To put that into today's terms, that's 1500 feet! Almost 1/3 of a mile! And this wasn't the wall around your garden or park. This was 15 to 20 feet thick and 26 1/4 feet tall, on average. That's not even counting when a room or building joined the wall (or the "projecting towers" for that matter)! What am I getting at? Simply this: We walk around, often times, saying or thinking we can't do it, or it's too big, but God says, over and over again, give what you have. Don't worry if it's enough or not. Whatever you give to God's work, trust that He is big enough to use it for mighty things! Because if the one's who could only build in front of their houses said, "This is such a small section that it really means nothing!", and never built what they did, there would have been holes in the wall. Making the rest of it useless! Your part, no matter how small it looks to you, is HUGE in the eyes of the Almighty!
