Love

Love is not natural.

Eros love - self love; me. I don't think we should live only in self love. But it does need to be a part of us. We are creation of the perfect God; therefore if we despise ourselves, we don't think God is good enough. We think we know better. We are actually in Eros love too much. Insecurity can truthfully lead to becoming even more selfish. If you are only worried about who you are as an individual, that's crap. You ARE insecure and yet you ARE completely selfish. You need to focus on who you are in God! Everyone always says "be yourself," but that is a seriously mis-interpreted statement. You need to find the beautiful personality in Christ that God gave you. But don't focus on "finding yourself". In this world, it doesn't freaking matter. What matters is finding yourselves in God. It won't take away from your individuality; it will abundantly add to it.

If you really love, you will respect. It will come naturally.

Definition of Agape: Love can be known only from the actions it promises. In essence, love does. Self pleasing is the negation of the love of God. Christian love is not an impulse of feelings. Love seeks the welfare of all and opportunity to do good.

Fileo: The context itself suggests that love values and esteems. It serves.

In Agape love it's 'What can I do for you?' Agape occurs when an individual recognizes the value of Tue object or person, making them to hold the object or person in great esteem and is compelled to love it. In fact the love for that object or person is so profound it is irresistible. Agape is a divine love which gives and gives and gives even if it is never responded to, thanked or acknowledged. It is not based on responses or lack of response.

Love is patient; love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast. It is not proud, it is not rude. It is not self- seeking. It is not easily angered. It keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not debit in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects; always trusts; always hopes; always perseveres. Love never fails.

God showed us the highest act of love. God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God.
