Don't Wait Until the Last Minute

S- Get out of bed and get dressed! Don't loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!
O- This translation is very different from the NIV, which, rather than talking about procrastination, mentions orgies and debauchery. But I suppose procrastination is more of a temptation for me. The Message translation talks about taking advantage of the limited days because the time available to us is short.
A- I do not want to be a procrastinator. I want to take advantage of the life I am given. Is it just the flesh thay causes me to do that, or is it that I value things differently than task-oriented people. I'm sure it is some of both. How can I achieve the most possible on the right time frame without getting lost in details or projects? I want to remain people oriented. What's the next step?
P- God, please help me to know whay it looks like to be focused on you while I work with tasks and people. Help me not be consumed by one or the other.
