deal violently w/your sin!
I love how this verse starts out w/God declaring His love & mercy by granting forgiveness but then it turns UGLY...Since God is a Righteous & Holy God He must punish sin; true sin was payed for at the cross but consequences still flow from disobedience. Look at the condition of humanity at present, we have toxic rivers, trash litters our oceans & countrysides, we have the ability to wage nuclear war against our enemies...this is the result of previous sins.
Do our children suffer from our disobedience?
Do Hawaiians like spam musubi? YES!
It's true children are observant students of life & their parents are their primary instructors and that which we do is that which they learn. So be strong & diligent my faithful brethren & raise them up in the way of the Lord.
"You are writing a gospel,
A chapter a day,
By the deeds that you do,
& words that you say.
Men read what you write,
Whether faithful or true,
