Rest? What does it mean to rest? Find out....
I am a super busy woman. Mostly busy with my full time work, part time consulting company, 3 kids and 1 ailing mother, work as leader for Celebrate Recovery. My week is so busy I have to rely on my calendar for my schedule everyday. I grew up enjoying to see nature and spend many hours doing nothing, just enjoying the scenes and people around me. Now I struggle to be able to have enough sleep. Why!
God talked about entering in God's rest. This rest means trusting that God already finished the work and all you need to do is rest in the fact that you no longer accountable for what the future will be. He will take care of what is best for you, but first you have to rest.
In my life, as busy as I am, I know when to rest in assurance of God's hand. I learn to set boundaries that allow me to take care of important things first and not worry about things I am not able to handle. Because I know I have what I have because I am capable through Him. He gives me strength, wisdom and patience to understand things.
