It's Always About People

Scripture:2 Sam 5:9, 12 - And he became more and more powerful, because the Lord God Almighty was with him. v12 Then David know that the Lord had established him as king over Israel and had exalted his kingdom for the sake of his people Israel.
Observation:The people noticed that David was becoming more and more powerful for God was with him, but David understood that this blessing was not for his own selfish plans and purposes. David understood that the blessing he was receiving was specially from God for His people. It is this revelation that keeps David grounded so he doesn't fall into the subtle trap of pride and arrogance where it becomes all about him and all for him!
Application:We must always remember; no matter what ministry we are serving or leading in this one simple truth: Any blessing that starts to flow is not because or our clever human intellect, it is simply the result of us being found worthy of walking intimately with with the Father so He is pouring out His favour on His people. It's always from God and it's always for God's people!
Prayer:Father help me to always keep this simple truth in mind as it will stop me from falling into the trap of pride and thinking too highly of myself. It really is all about You and your presence and without that all I have is an empty project devoid of spiritual life!
