How do we see others?

As I read the text in verse 39, I became acutely aware of the fact that I (like the Pharisee) have at times looked at others (prostitutes, sexually immoral, theifs, murders, adulters, generally bad people, ect...) as not being reachable through the word of GOD. I harbored a negative view of them.
Then I was humbly reminded that I too am a sinner and that only by GOD's grace, through his Word, was I able to recognize my sin and turn from it, accepting the gift of life bought by the shedding of Jesus Christ blood on the cross.

I was reminded that all are captive to sin in our fallen state and that we who are saved should in love and compassion desire the same for others. If I hold to an attitude that some are, in their current lifestyle, just too far from GOD for them to be "good enough" to know HIS grace, them I am really saying that GOD is limited. Woe to me if I take that stance. Rather....

I pray that I will glorify and honor GOD with a willing heart to share the gospel with others, planting seeds that He alone can nourish and grow. After all, Christ sent someone to my (a sinner) doorstep!!
