Royal wedding

Today William and Kate finally got married! As about 2 billion watched this great event, only 1900 selected guests were invited to join the ceremony on spot and only one third of these may go to the party afterwards. About a million fans in London tried to get a glance of the royal couple, waiting hours for seeing them a few minutes.

Watching this highly-organized feast I just realized how accessible our God is. Everyone is invited! God is not an exclusive God with a few selected influential friends. No, he is going to the country lanes and behind the hedges to invite everyone enjoy the great banquet!
In Psalm 87:5 God is granting everyone "citizenship" in the holy city. He has given us sonship rights and allows us to meet Him in person, talk to him and get to know him! In His eyes, we're no longer strangers trying to get a peek of Him, but we are "Royal members of God's family" (Ephesians 2:19).

So let us thank God for being so approachable and for granting us rights no one cam dream of! And let's invite people to a Royal wedding everyone can enjoy :)
