Take a few minutes to read the scripture reference, then read this little note.
First of all, we know that Paul is talking to all of the churches of Galatia. Starting in verse six, we see that he is scolding those churches for what they have done. What have they done? They've turned to a different gospel. It is similar to the one that we Christians build upon, but it is different. The first thing you should know is that a similar but different gospel is NOT the gospel at all. In Paul's eyes, and in God's too, this equates to totally deserting Him who called them in the grace of Christ. God opened his arms to these churches, and they quickly turned away from Him. Paul continues to tell them that there are people who are troubling them and want distort the gospel of Christ. This is the second thing; A distorted gospel is NOT the gospel at all. Verse eight continues to say that if others or even an angel from heaven should preach to them a gospel that is contrary to the one that is correct, let them be accursed. Let them be condemned. Verse nine reiterates that sentence. If a gospel contrary to the correct one is being preached to them, let the preacher be accursed. Paul ends this group of verses by asking himself if he is now seeking the approval of man or God. Is he also trying to please man? If he were, he would not have ever been a servant of Christ. So the main things that we should learn from these verses is that if you add or subtract to the gospel, or if you distort it in any way, it is not the gospel at all. It is a totally different teaching that is a lie. So be careful in what you teach; make sure it's biblically correct before you start reaching out.
