I never thought about the significance of my name until I started reading the Bible at 15. Seeing the meanings of people's names in Scripture was amazing. In fact, I never met another person called Joel until I was nearly 20.

Have you ever had those moments where somebody mentions a name of someone you know but it makes the conversation turn negative?
I used to wonder what people thought when they heard my name being mentioned. What would be the result of me being in someone's presence?

Look at Exodus 34:6
And he (God) passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, "The lord, the lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness,

God's name was proclaimed and a life altering experience was the result!
Compassion, grace, patience, love and faithfulness is God's name.
