The Lamb of God
The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, Amen. The children of Israel used to sacrifice animals to God for their sins, so it could be said, the lamb of man that takes away the sin of man but that sin comes back. Christ the Lamb was the ultimate sacrifice, the only sacrifice that would suffice. Though, sadly, we continue to fall and sin, the Lamb of God has paid for our sin once and for all, so we can always go to that sacrifice, repentantly, for forgiveness of our sins, just as the children of Israel sacrificed for forgiveness of their sins. We have the Name of the One True Lamb which we can call on, and our sins will be forgiven. Christ took the credit for our sins, and we've taken the credit for His righteousness, given justice to the unjust. Thank you Lamb of God.
