• they forget about the relationship building
• they end up with a Frankenmarriage
• the chemistry blows up and never worked on the bad habits they bring into the marriage.
• their past snuck into their present and began to unravel their future

Today's message specifically geared to the men:

Women are viewed, presented, talked about, and sung about like a commodity.

Biblical view of women:
• during the period the Bible was written women were a commodity, they had no rights.
• Jesus gives a new commandment: Love one another.
• Jesus gave no exceptions. We are commanded to love all: man, woman, & child.
• Jesus also commanded men to love their wives as Jesus loved the church and gave himself for her.
• 1 Peter 3:7

2 Practical things for guys to do:
1. Renew your mind to think differently.
• 1. If your playlist has music that calls women "bitches or whores" it needs to be deleted immediately.
• it's offensive to women and treats them as a commodity.
• women should be mad as he'll if their man is listening to this type of music.
• 2. Pornography teaches:
• a real body isn't good enough
• one body isn't good enough
• your wife's body isn't good enough
• it deadens a man's appetite for a real woman

2. Make up your mind to behave differently.
• you need to be the person you're looking for
