Have you ever been in this place? Where you have cried out to God

"What will you gain if I die"  It is a frightening place, a cold place "where is God, Who is God"

How do you live in such a place?

Live by value
Live by responsibility

Refuse bitterness
Refuse cynicism
Refuse self-pity

Be Grateful for what you have

Be Realistic
Look after your health physical, emotional and spiritual
Make good decisions, that build your life and your family.

Love Jesus
Love your family
Love your friends.

Enjoy nature, good books, funny movies. Enjoy simple every day things. Cooking a meal, planting a plant, climbing a mountain.  

Like Job I sat on the ash heap, Everything was broken. Health,  jobs, finances, house, car. It seemed like the past was worthless full of struggle and sickness, and the dreamed of future impossible.

Remember who you are and choose to live that way.

I scraped my sores and wailed, I wept through the night. I called out to God. "I said "What kind of testimony is this life" No-one would want this"  How does this praise and glorify you".

But David is correct in what he says.  It is now some years later. And my mourning has been turned into dancing.  I look at my husband, and my children and I thank God for the joy they bring. There is so much in my life that I enjoy,  I have hope for the future. I have found true success and my life does glorify God.
