Love says that I care for you and desire that you experience Eternal Life. Love will drive us to share the Love of Jesus.

Hatred, therefore, says the opposite. It says that I hope evil comes your way and it does not bother me if you go to hell. If that is the definition of hating someone then we are wishing eternal death on them or murder.

It's like having the Love of Jesus and refusing to share it with that person because we do not like them.

What label would be given to a doctor who refused medical treatment to a patient just because he hated that person and that person died. Here in the USA that would be murder.

Hatred has eternal ramifications.
