When we sin we are punishing ourselves

I was gonna read more, but I got a lot from these first few verses.

I just want you to know that this is for me. I may be wrong on some of my blogs but I am learning as I go. I pray that God will speak to your heart and mine.

So this is the first time I've personally read about evil spirits between people. And I find it interesting that God put an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem. I figured the evil spirits would just go there on there own. But this shows that God is in control. God did this, to punish Abimelech for killing his 70 brothers, with the help of the men of Shechem. So even though there mad at each other, little do they know that God is using there anger and sin to judge them. Wow! When we sin we are just punishing ourselves. Thankfully God sent His son to die for our sins so we can be with Him forever, and we don't have to be seperates for eternity. Today, I won't forget about the power of Christ that is inside of me. Lord, please don't let my mind drift away. Please constantly remind me to pray. You said we cant do right and wrong at the same time. So I pray that I can constantly pray for others so that You will show up in there lives and get all the glory. You created the hands that heal, and the minds that found the cure. So thank You and I love You.

Prayer keeps us out of trouble.
