Don't Hate.
“Then the high priest and all his associates, who were members of the party of the Sadducees, were filled with jealousy.” Acts 5:17
Jealousy is a dangerous thing to have in our lives. It usually brings out the ugliest part of us.
The religious leaders were jealous because the disciples were performing miracles and people were getting healed. The crazy thing about all this was that both the religious leaders and the disciples wanted God to move. The motives were completely different.
The disciples wanted God to move so that Jesus would get the glory. The religious leaders wanted God to move so that they could get the glory.
Jealousy will alway lead back to a selfish attitude, and a selfish attitude never leads to Jesus.
