This passage foretells what is now happening...intellectuals are ignoring, everyday, the truths and facts of history that are recorded in the Bible and supported in historic records, in an effort to discredit the Word of God and the "theory of God" as they would put it.

Remember that God has promised to be faithful to His children who put their faith and trust in Him. Because of this promise, we can rest secure, knowing that our God will be true and that He will one day return for us.
