Everything in us wants to run from dry places yet this verse demonstrates that there are times when God ordains such instances.

It's not always the devil.

So what's the point?

1.) It takes faith to stay put in the midst of famine.
2.) Staying in the famine matures you for life's battles, spiritual and otherwise.
