Prophecy Fulfilled
God fulfilled His promise that the sword would always be against David's house. Why didn't David realize this? If he had, would God have warned him of the plot?
In reality, Tamar was justified by the hands of her brother Absalom. Amnon was suppose to die for his raping her, according to the Law God gave Moses.
God does not forget. Absalom took the responsibility as the "avenger of blood". What a horrible thing to make your children do what you refuse to do in obedience to the known will of God.
